Our Story

We are a boy and girl crazy about the future of our world. Inspired by our grandparents who told stories of 'make do and mend', we wanted to bring that philosophy back into our fast new world. So, we set out to create a smart, modern, reusable cup that you would want to be seen with, to help you cut your plastic waste.

Introducing, bru cups. A modern solution to our growing problem.
bru cups are durable, reusable, take-away coffee cups, thoughtfully designed by a couple of coffee drinkers who didn't want to be part of the throw-away society.

We invite you to join us!

Our Mission

Taking matters into your own hands.

We all have a role to play in preserving natural resources for future generations.

bru cups merge style with function to give you a cup you value and won't want to throw away.

Using your bru cup, you can support your favourite coffee shops and reduce the impact that ‘disposable’ cups have on our environment, for many years to come.

Due to the difficulty and inefficiency of recycling disposable coffee cups, just in the UK up to 10bn of them per year degrade in landfill releasing carbon emissions that contribute to climate change.

Our durable, stainless steel, reusable coffee cups cut waste at the source. They will serve you for as long as you need them and afterwards, they can be recycled to make new products over and over again without ever becoming ‘waste’.

"You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make".  Jane Goodall
